Welcome to Hopfilled Studio! I’m so glad you’re here.
Sharing a Little Bit of My Backstory
I have been through decades of hard health seasons when my body wouldn’t allow me to live to the full. I never understood why God allowed me to experience so much pain and suffering. Yet, I also knew and was constantly reminded of His goodness and faithfulness. He showed up through so many answered prayers! The only way I knew how to live was by doing the next right thing that was in front of me.
It was never easy. No one understood what I went through. The physical pain I endured made it impossible for me to live the dreams and life I imagined. For example, being in my 30’s and still living at home. That’s not how I pictured my life at all!
Fast forward to when COVID-19 hit. I was unemployed. I decided to go into business with my cousins learning finance and life insurance. Well, this took a turn I could never have expected. It led to the Lord healing me of my chronic pain/illness.
As I tried to figure out how I would move forward in my life, the Holy Spirit led me into a season of grieving. Grieving those years of what ifs. In that time, I experienced complete disconnect from sharing anything that had happened to me. I had been a faithful blogger for decades. I loved blogging, yet I couldn’t find any words to share. It was so odd, yet I knew I needed to focus on my healing.
What is Hopefilled Studio?
As I moved through the last stage of grief, acceptance, God gave me a vision to create a space, not only for me, but for others to share about the hope of Christ that they have experienced in their own lives.
Whether it’s through pain, suffering, grief, unexpected times, healing, I know the Lord uses us when we’re willing to be vulnerable and transparent by telling these stories with others so it can lift those up who are experiencing similar seasons. I firmly believe that this is why God allows us to go through these tough times.
Hopefilled Studio is not just about me. I created this space to be about fellow believers that need that boost of hope. I am inviting you, even if you’re not a writer, to share your story of hope. Come. Join in and be brave. I know that I listened to so many stories about healing and hope during my time of grieving that I went through. It was the encouragement I needed to not only continue to pursue a relationship with God but to continue my journey of healing.
